Set on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron, Camp Hermosa provides a unique opportunity for campers to learn about God and grow in their faith, while experiencing the beauty of God’s Creation.

New Camp - Music and Drama

Hermosa Adds a NEW MUSIC & DRAMA CAMP to the '09 roster!

This summer's schedule includes the addition of a Music & Drama camp. This brand new camp, open to campers aged 10-14, is for those who are interested in learning more about performing arts in a Christian environment.

We have recruited experienced and qualified instructors to make this week a success. Campers will have the opportunity for private and group coaching on:

• Singing
• Acting
• Movement
• Set & Costume Design

The week will culminate in a revue-style show for the parents, so that campers have some real performance experience, and get an opporunity to celebrate their new skills.

Parents can also SAVE on this new week, as any child who registers for Music & Drama and another week-long youth camp (ex: Junior A, Intermediate B) will receive a $25 discount!!!

The week combines the best of a traditional camp week with theatre-related themes and activities. It's a great opportunity for both new and returning campers to experience the very best of Camp Hermosa. Space is limited, so register early!

Three Ways to Save

There are three exciting discount opportunities this summer, that can be taken advantage of individually or altogether for a total savings of $60 or more! WOW!

1. Bring Your Friends and Save! Invite your friends to camp for the first time with you this summer and you will each receive $25 off your registration fees (eligible only for child and teen camps). And guess what? Bring two new campers to camp, and you save $50 off your registration fee, and both new campers receive $25 off theirs.
2. Attend Music & Drama Camp and Save! Campers who register for 2 or more youth camps, including the Music & Drama Camp, will save $25 off the total registration cost.
3. Register Early! Register by April 1st '09 and receive a $10 credit at our camp summer store! (Discount not available online)

Stay Involved: Send a Kid to Camp

Every year, the Camp Hermosa Bursary Fund provides a camp experience for kids who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend. The bursary relies entirely on private donations to send kids to camp. Last year thanks to your generosity we were able to double the number of kids we could provide this opportunity for, and we'd like to do it again this year.
